But tonight I’ll have to make an exception because I’m invited to a party and I want to get out of my boho-girl look once in a while and go all sexy vixen.  So without further ado, let me ask you this question:

Well, actually, no matter what your answer is, I’m still gonna pick my Anuschka Ladies Clutch Wallet Tattoo Rose Denim.  It’s cute, it’s fun, it’s got roses and denim blue dominant background and the golden brown accents.  Maybe I don’t need to ask any questions at all as the black Frankie B. Jeans Romper will actually highlight the clutch!

Flowers And Leaves

Hi everybody!

I’d just thought I’d let you all know that I’m still here, as busy as ever taking care of Mrs. X, yeah that client from the Bahamas.  But, I just have to share the beauty of the falling leaves of autumn by sharing my love for *oddly enough* flowers and *more appropriately* leaves.

And this is my love of flowers:

Yep, you guessed it right.  It’s the Anuschka Hobo in Retro Lotus Antique. It’s like ages since I wear this bag and in this kind of season, I’m totally rocking it.  However, I have got something special to pair it with.

Alex and Ani Leaf Earrings are just soooo fall-fabulous.  I’m the type of girl who likes daywear as much as evening wear and always thankful if the stuff in my closet (or jewelry box) are multi-function!

Will post again tomorrow, as now I have to take care of some stuff.  Taaa!

New Anuschka Tag For Me

Aha.

I am still here, people, lurking around the internet and yesterday I made another purchase of one Anuschka accessory.  I know it’s crazy, but I felt that I just had to have this cute luggage tag.

I’ve been rather busy traveling these days, and my old heart-shaped luggage tag gets boring after a while.  Quick update: Mr. BF is taking a vacation and he’s been traveling around with me (so sweet of him).  I think it kinda made up for our cancelled India holiday.  Next week we’re going for another getaway (without me working this time) and I can’t wait.

However, I shopped like crazy when we went to New York three days ago, and look at my most prized fabulous find:

It’s the Joie Bliss Ombre Cardigan.  Haven’t I mentioned my love for ombre stuff?  Well, that is exactly why I fell for this beautiful cardi.  Look at the cute wooden buttons.  Classic.

That’s not the only stuff I got, but let’s just spread them through the week, shall we?

Oh my GOD!

There, I’ve been saying OMG and Oh My God too much.  I don’t care.  I wanted to scream today because I really really found the IT item to go with almost ALL of my Anuschka bags!  Behold:

You see, I am not much of a boot fan, but this… is like falling in love at first sight.  I mean, what’s not to love?  It’s leather, it’s got other colors than just the boring boring brown, just like my Anuschka bags collection.  Now, I’m putting up some of my favorite Anuschka bags and you will all see how well they will go together with my new Anna Sui boots!

The Anuschka Premium Peacock Safari shoulder bag, which have constantly been my lifesaver on clubbing nights!

My wonderfully colorful Anuschka Medium Satchel Premium Peacock Flower, which is now kinda beat-up because I carry this, like, almost everyday.

The uniquely structured Anuschka Large Shopper Bag in Premium Peacock Flower.  I can just see toting this and wearing the boots and I’ll be in my own runway!  How very supermodel of me.  And it turns out that I just solved the simplest math problem:

Anuschka + Anna Sui = perfection!

Oh it’s just a perfect perfect perfect daaayyy!!!

Thursday Fact N Pick #04

Hi again for another edition of Thursday Fact N Pick!? Today’s fact is a tribute to fine American women with even finer taste in handbags.? Why do I think it’s a tribute?? Why, because although it’s made in India by talented artists…

…the first ever Anuschka Bag was sold in the U.S., not in India.

Isn’t that fantastic?? I might be among the first owners of the bag, but hey, I’m calling out to all Anuschka bag fans out there.? You are all fabulous!

So that’s the wonderful fact.? Now, what about the wonderful pick?

Even though I’m a self-proclaimed hard-core lover of Anuschka bags, I sometimes have to carry luggages.? Yes I travel much, due to my work.? So when I’m stuck with the boring luggage on business trips, I always add an Anuschka touch by attaching this Anuschka Round Luggage Tag, and my luggage will scream “style” and make other luggages embarrassed in the conveyor belt.? Seriously, this classy small thing is not only cute, it represents your taste in design and art as well!

Right, I have to get back to work now.? My recently-turned-Bahama-resident client is reconsidering re-hiring me as her rep.

Bag of All Season

I don’t want to leave summer yet, but I have to be realistic. As I said previously, the fashion world moves ahead of the human world, and everywhere you go today… there’s always a ‘fall preview’. I hate to rush, but I thought that I could make a transition. From sleeveless, spaghetti straps, tubes… I now move to short sleeves. Micro-short sleeves if possible, but still sleeves. It’s just hard to think ‘cold autumn day’ when it’s all sunny and bright. But I’m gonna try sneaking a preview on what my transition wear would be.

From a summery wrap floral dress by Diana Von Furstenberg, into the calmer Joie’s Charisma Minidress (both available at Nordstorm.com), I begin to think that transition is good.

What makes it even better is that I have a collection of bags that would go with whatever the season is. And featured here is the Anuschka Medium Hobo in Premium Hibiscus Antique. I guess the warm tone of the flowers would remind me of summer, the bluish edges welcome the cool winter and the whole natural leather tone would correspond well with the coming autumn.

There, I’ve made a fall preview. No, wait. It’s more of a transition. It’s not yet fall and I’m still refusing to post about those cute baloon-silhouetted skirts no matter how cute they are. It’s not yet time to turn grey for me. I’m still savoring the colors!

What can I say, I’m a Californian. Tropical girl at heart, that is.

Hobo History

I love learning something new everyday, even if the stuff I’m learning are seen as ‘unimportant’ to some people.? Today I found that the Hobo bag shape is actually inspired by the bindle.? I rarely come across this word, so I looked it up at Wikipedia and found that the bindles are actually the carrying device used to be carried by hobos, or wandering homeless people.? Hence the Hobo bag.

Speaking of bindles, I did have a childhood memory of a Dutch bindlestiff called Douwe Dabbert.? My half-Dutch grandma used to read the comics to me before I go to bed and this post gives me warm memories :)? I think I’m gonna put Mr. Dabbert’s picture here.

Such a cute jolly old guy.? Notice how the bindle have now beautifully evolved into gorgeous hobo bags… and this is one of my favorites!

And the Anuschka Small Hobo Bag is even cuter with the tassel!

My Romantic 4th of July :)

So Mr. BF had romantic plans for us tomorrow but he wouldn’t tell me. He promised me a lot of fireworks (like duh!) and a quiet picnic in the park. Hang on. Fireworks, check. Picnic, check. But quiet? That I have to check out. I told him I’m not really in the mood to dress up, but he merely said: “Havaianas would do.” So yay! And below is what I’m thinking to wear tomorrow.
