My best friend Trish went into labour last night and I couldn’t be happier.? It’s a healthy baby girl and they have yet to name her.? Trish is fine, albeit exhausted.? I couldn’t help but feel a bit of an envy growing inside me.? Maybe that’s why, I’m feeling rather maternal today and couldn’t possibly decide what to give as a present!? Too much cute baby-girl stuff today and I’m switching my attention from shopping to checking out the news because I thought it would help clear my head from all those pink, yellow and pastels.
But I found a cute cute news here at People.
It’s said that Kimora Lee Simmons doesn’t approve her kids to wear midriff tops.? ? Omg, she’s such an amazing mom.? If I have a daughter of my own, I wouldn’t let her wear midriff tops either.? Well, not until she’s off-age at least.

Okay, enough sadness for the day.? Let’s just go back to fashion.? And the latest buzz in the fashion world today is created, surprisingly by a newcomer.? Or should I just imitate the rest of the world and say she’s a… nobody?? No, that would be cruel.
Ah who cares.? Call me Cruella DeVil but I couldn’t help but giggle over this video I saw on DotSpotter.
So the story is, this girl named Phoebe Price was turned down at the Chanel store opening at Robertson Blvd, L.A.? She got all mad and threatens to sue Chanel if the PR girl who turned her down at the door doesn’t get fired and if Chanel doesn’t issue a public apology. ? The story is here.
If this is the way to get into Hollywood’s inner circle, I’ll give it a shot.? I’ll just have to:
1.? Come to a hot A-list party.
2.? Get denied at the door, force the PR girl to humiliate me by saying “I am invited!” over and over again.
3.? Get my “lawyers” and hold a press conference in front of the event venue.
4.? Sip martini and smile with satisfaction while watching my videos spread across YouTube.
5.? Hire a rep to boost my 5-minute into 5 weeks or so.

Getting tired of all these talks about Sex and The City and Indiana Jones, I figured I’m gonna see something else. See, this is what I love about summer. Lots of funny movies coming out and guaranteed non-stop entertainment throughout the season. So yes, I am going to watch Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway’s Get Smart. I think it’s similar to Rowan Atkinson’s Johnny English and the Austin Powers trilogy, but then again I have a very ticklish funny bone. So, repetitions in funny movies are O.K. no matter how ugly they’ll turn up.
Besides, I need to take a closer look on that white coat Anne’s wearing. Not exactly summer material, but it’s gorgeous!
Hm, wonder if a boho girl like me can pull it off.
Oh well. As long as I can pull my passport with the cute cover out of my carry-on bag on my upcoming trip to India…
…I’ll do just fine!
Mr. BF said mine is kinda worn due to my past extensive travels, but I don’t care. Distressed leather are coming back anyway. And they are always smart-looking.
