I don’t usually read the news.? I skim the news and pick the ones I like.? And the ones I like usually come from the ‘entertainment’ section.? Well, today I spotted an important news on CNN.com, not in the entertainment section (I think) but I love it enough to share it with you, wonderful readers.

I’ve been a fan of Wills, since the day I saw him leap into his late mom’s open arms, wearing his Eton uniform.? Suffice to say he was my adolescent crush, along with the likes of George Clooney and Will Smith (What?? I like older men too!).
Anyway, let’s just hope Wills’ hands-on approach to handling these kind of stuff would set an example of young royals everywhere, even for political and social photo-ops.? This will rebuild every girl’s fantasy of the existence of Prince Charming that has been long gone and replaced by reality-show heroes.? I’d like to see Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco bust some drunken gambler or something. His hair would look much better than Wills’ receding hairline (oh thank God for berets) in action!

So I browsed E! Online today and found this:
The folks at E! said it’s Matt Damon.? THE Matt Damon from Bourne Identity.? Rings any bell?? The cute guy from Ocean’s Eleven.? Really?? No clue?? Well whatever.? You can stay longer in that denial phase because I stayed in mine for like 20 minutes just to let the image sink in, while muttering to myself: “It’s not Matt Damon. It’s Mr. Wells from next door.? It’s not Matt Damon.”
My good friend Jack and my boyfriend has always been Matt Damon’s fans.? They watched The Bourne Identity over and over again like Joey, Ross and Chandler watches Die Hard.? Jack even said that he has a man-crush on Matt Damon despite the fact that he’s straight.? Mr. Boyfriend agrees with Jack and told me I should assess who my woman-crush is.? When I say Ellen DeGeneres, they winced and said, “You should find somebody sexier.? Ellen is no crush material.? Angelina Jolie is.”

Okay, enough sadness for the day.? Let’s just go back to fashion.? And the latest buzz in the fashion world today is created, surprisingly by a newcomer.? Or should I just imitate the rest of the world and say she’s a… nobody?? No, that would be cruel.
Ah who cares.? Call me Cruella DeVil but I couldn’t help but giggle over this video I saw on DotSpotter.
So the story is, this girl named Phoebe Price was turned down at the Chanel store opening at Robertson Blvd, L.A.? She got all mad and threatens to sue Chanel if the PR girl who turned her down at the door doesn’t get fired and if Chanel doesn’t issue a public apology. ? The story is here.
If this is the way to get into Hollywood’s inner circle, I’ll give it a shot.? I’ll just have to:
1.? Come to a hot A-list party.
2.? Get denied at the door, force the PR girl to humiliate me by saying “I am invited!” over and over again.
3.? Get my “lawyers” and hold a press conference in front of the event venue.
4.? Sip martini and smile with satisfaction while watching my videos spread across YouTube.
5.? Hire a rep to boost my 5-minute into 5 weeks or so.
Phoebe Price, you might be a Hollywood nobody, but you inspired me.

Sarah Jessica Parker is my fashion guru.? Therefore, when I saw the story on E! last night about the dress she wore to the Sex and The City premiere in New York last week, I was somewhat a bit outraged.? ? The dress had already worn two times before her, and one of the two times, according to my judgment were… not that bad.
I’m saddened to say this, but seriously, as much as I love SJP, that heiress, Lauren Davis didn’t look bad in the dress.? Lindsay Lohan, on the other hand… well, as she’s been somewhat a ‘wreck’ for the past year, let’s just say that jacket just does not go with the dress and chanelling Amy Winehouse with that hairdo is seriously… confusing.

So, apart from Lohan’s jacket and hair fiasco, I still have to say that it’s just not ethical to let somebody in SJP’s standing wear a dress worn by somebody else before.? Not to mention two previous appearances! I’m saying this not because I do PR and I’m imagining what her reps are going through right now.? I’m saying this because if somebody with a huge name like SJP could get duped so easily…
…then what’s going to happen with to us, mere mortals?
Oh well, ethical or not… I still think it’s a gorgeous dress.? And I bet the designer, Olivier Theyskens, will rise to the top after this, because no press is bad press anyway.
