I am sooo playing matchmaker with my outfit today.  And this is the latest result!

It’s fall, it’s starting to get gloomy, and if we can spice things up… then why don’t we? In case you’re wondering, it’s a dress from T-Bags.  Nice, right?

On a less girly note, I am hanging on the edge of my seat, hoping that the Presidential debate won’t be cancelled this Friday.  I’m dying for a good TV show.  Wait, that’s not a show.  Whatever, Mr. BF told me to get wine and pop corns for the event.  We’ll see!

Omg, how I miss this blog.

Okay, let me just wind down a little before I start blabbing.

*ahem*

So August turned out to be a busy busy month for me, as that client from the Bahamas I told you about turns out to give me more work than I usually handle.  It’s weird that I thought I was losing her, but turned out that I was actually keeping her!  And that is very good news

Mr. BF is doing great, our house is free of boxes now and Bobo can run around as much as he likes.  I love cooking nowadays, so I have been cooking whenever I’m done working because I can’t stand to see my computer anymore usually.  I’ve been putting off blogging, but today I realized that I miss talking about my Anuschka bags!

So, behold my latest procurement:

Yep, it’s that Anuschka Multi Compartment All-Round Zip.  Remember?  That one gorgeous bag I wished for but got a slinky dog instead? LOL.  Well now I got it and I couldn’t be happier.

Weekenders!

So it’s my mom’s birthday tomorrow.? Me and Mr. BF are going to visit her for a hearty seafood lunch as she promised.? It will be nice to get out of the house since it’s still filled with boxes *sideways glance to Mr. BF*.

Anyway, my chiropractor says I’m better now and that means I can start carrying more stuff inside my bag.? But I’m still not over my love for thin bags, even when looking for presents for my mom!? So I am planning to give this Anuschka Saddle Bag Collage to her, because it’s slim and light enough without eliminating the ‘tote bag’ feel.? She would love it.? Heeheee!

LOL In The Morning

One of my favorite thing to do in the morning is having a hearty breakfast -I’m sure by now people would already smell how fierce my appetite is- and… checking my e-mails.? This morning, my friend Jack sent this to me and it made me snort my cereals.? But it was worth the shock.

Dang.

Look how frat parties can be of damage to your brains.? LOL.? Oh well, as Jack said in the subject line:? “To The College Sophie.? Does This Ring A Bell?”.? Yep, I partied in college.? And I mean, p-a-r-t-y!? I never did this bad in a test, but I’ve had those hungover moments in class and taking Language when I was supposed to take Statistics.

Quite different, if we’re talking about the ‘now’ Sophie who sleeps at 10 p.m., waking up all fresh and cheery in the morning to greet online clients and still has the time to grocery shop and cook dinner.

Oh dear, I’m an old lady.

I’m dragging Mr. BF out tonight, then.? The poor guy is burned out from work.? See, I told him we shouldn’t have postponed that India trip.? *sigh*.? But that’s ok because I am going out, backache and all, with this:

Welcome Baby!

My best friend Trish went into labour last night and I couldn’t be happier.? It’s a healthy baby girl and they have yet to name her.? Trish is fine, albeit exhausted.? I couldn’t help but feel a bit of an envy growing inside me.? Maybe that’s why, I’m feeling rather maternal today and couldn’t possibly decide what to give as a present!? Too much cute baby-girl stuff today and I’m switching my attention from shopping to checking out the news because I thought it would help clear my head from all those pink, yellow and pastels.

But I found a cute cute news here at People.

It’s said that Kimora Lee Simmons doesn’t approve her kids to wear midriff tops.? ? Omg, she’s such an amazing mom.? If I have a daughter of my own, I wouldn’t let her wear midriff tops either.? Well, not until she’s off-age at least.

Speaking of gorgeous… I think since Trish has gotten her baby, it’s time to give the gift I’ve promised her a few months ago.

My First Official Review :)

I’ve been eying the Anuschka Large Work Tote for a few days now… so I decided to put all my thoughts into a review. Check it out!

Which Bag Should I Buy?

There’s always something even behind the funnest activity in the world. And that something, for me, is having to choose from equally fine products… when I’m shopping. Well no, I’m not shopping right now, but remember my client Magda? Apparently the Anne Geddes imitation photo shoot went very well thanks to the costumes I provided *ahem* and last Saturday, she offered to pay me with an Anuschka handbag. I was overjoyed, but not for long as I should make up my mind and email her with the bag of my choice Wednesday at the latest.

I’ve spent my weekend in front of my computer screen, narrowing down my choices and have gotten the final result. It’s the Anuschka Multi Compartment Satchel. Very functional with three top zip entries for easy access to my stuff.

(un)fortunately, they came in 3 beautiful colors and patterns…

…which makes it hard for me to choose because they are all so pretty!

Baby Shower!

No I’m not talking about MY baby as I haven’t got one. I just got invited to a baby shower this weekend by my friend Trish. She’s very excited and now I am excited too. I talked to Mr. Boyfriend (yes, he’s still away on business *sob*) and we decided to buy this as a baby shower present.

Now Trish herself doesn’t know what the baby’s sex would be, so it was rather tricky for me to get her a present. But the ever thoughtful Mr. Boyfriend suggested that we get her something neutral. What can be more neutral than white and (a variety of) colors? Besides, if it’s a girl, then she’s going to get her first bag from Aunt Sophie, the bag-addict. Yay!

Speaking of bags, I wanted to give Trish a bag too. Since she will be a full-time mom, I wanted to give her something roomy so she can tote every baby equipment she might have, without going out of style. And I laid my eyes on this:

That’s gonna create one yummy mummy indeed! It’s large, it’s slouchy and what matters most is… it’s leather and it’s pretty. Trish would definitely love it.

Hang on. I’m beginning to love it too. No, I’m in love with it already.

Mother’s Day Gift!

It’s almost Mother’s Day and I’ve wrapped a present for my Mom. Don’t worry, she doesn’t know I blog, so I’m gonna show you all the Anuschka wallet clutch.

My Mom seldom goes to social events. She likes staying at home, doing her quilts and patchwork stuff. And cook! Oh my God, she cooks the most delicious dinners. I remember there was this one time she cooked a pot of seafood soup…

…or we can get back to that later.

Anyway, for somebody who rarely goes to social events, my Mom is the type who dresses to the nines when she does. Her closet is mostly pastel-colored or black, but she never says no to colors and patterns when it comes to clutches and bags. Kinda like me.

That’s exactly why I think this clutch is great for her. Besides, it’s good for day wear, luncheons (she throws them quite often), or just a trip to the mall.
